Joe and Sarah

Joe and Sarah have been married for awhile and decided that it was time to have a portrait session again.

Winter is a difficult season to schedule time for photography. Snow is a beautiful addition to the scenery, but the temperature is quite low and the weather is unpredictable.

Last week The American Heart Association held its campaign to promote heart health among women. Friday, February 5, was Go Red For Women Day. Even the falls at Falls Park were illuminated red in the events honor. *PSA side note* Everyone should take care of their ticker. Your loved ones will thank you for it!

Falls Park is always a beautiful setting, but I thought it'd be fun to try to utilize the special coloration for Joe and Sarah's photos. We did experience some snowfall throughout the day, and it chilly. However, it wasn't as cold as it could have been. There is minimal access to the viewpoints around the park, but we found a few locations where we could take advantage of the special scenery. My husband was able to spot me so that I didn't fall into the river. :-) I didn't actually get that close.

Red light is no longer bathing the falls, but you should be sure to visit the park anyway. Bring a blanket and some hot cocoa.
